What happens if I have to cancel after I have paid? A: If you are no longer able to attend, we are able to provide store credit only if the cancellation is made more than 48-hours prior to the course date. No refunds of any kind are available for cancellations made within 48-hours prior to the course date. In lieu of attending the workshop, you can also choose to transfer your spot to a friend, but must notify us in advance. To cancel or transfer your seat in the workshop, please email paperhabit@gmail.com with Transfer in the subject line.
What if Paper Habit cancels my class? A: In the event Paper Habit has to cancel a workshop due to low enrollment, or instructor illness, you will receive a 100% refund for the workshop in the form of your original payment. Or, you can always opt for a credit towards another class. Class cancellations usually happen 48 hours in advance. In some specials cases, classes will be cancelled 24 hours in advance.
Who can take a workshop? Can I bring my kids? A: Unless otherwise noted on the workshop description, our workshops are suitable for students 12 years of age and older. For those younger than 12 years of age, we do ask that a parent or guardian attend the workshop as well. Please call the shop at 209-567-0605 with any questions.
Do you offer private workshops? A: Yes. We would love to host your group, family, or friends for an evening or day of making. Please email us with any inquiries paperhabit@gmail.com
Is there a wait list for workshops? A: In the event that a Paper Habit workshop is sold out, you can request to be added to the wait list in case there are cancellations. Please call the shop or email paperhabit@gmail.com to be put on the wait list. Adding your name to the wait list does not guarantee you will be able to attend the workshop. If a space in a workshop opens up, we will give you a call to confirm you can attend. You will be notified 24 hours in advance.
How can I see what is upcoming? A: For future workshops and events, please check our calendar.
Can I teach a workshop at the store? A: Yay! We are always looking for new teachers and would love to have you. Please email paperhabit@gmail.com with your full class description, class samples, website and contact information.
